(updated 11/11/2020) We enjoyed this one-of-a-kind immersive experience with The Elf on the Shelf’s Magical Holiday Journey, all from the safety of our own car! During opening week we attended this all new event and it’s so much fun! Imagine your whole family on a magical ride to elf land and seeing live performances, Christmas lights and even Santa. This event is currently held at the Fairplex in Pomona from November 6, 2020 – January 3, 2021.

As you enter, your car will shrink down to elf size and the Scout Elves need your help! This year Christmas Spirit is running low, so during test flights Santa’s sleigh had to make an emergency landing at the Fairplex in Pomona. Join the elves on a drive-thru quest to build more Christmas Spirit, as you embark on a fun expedition to help repair Santa’s sleigh. Enjoy a dazzling light spectacle, toy repair workshop, gingerbread villages, and all the sights and sounds of the holidays, blended with a touch of high-spirited fun that only Santa’s favorite Scout Elves can deliver.
For those of you who are attending, here’s some tips for your journey…
Tip 1: Take a moment to write a letter to Santa on the paper provided before starting the tour. The letter you write will be made into a nice surprise by the elves (that they give you at the end), so you don’t want to miss out. (We pulled to side parking lot to finish this before starting the tour.)
Tip 2: The best view of the attraction is from the driver side (although you can still see a lot of spectacular views from all windows). .
Tip 3: Use a different phone for the the tour ap from the one you are using to take pictures. You’ll need to scroll to different chapters on the ap during the tour and you might not want to disrupt your picture/video taking.
This a a great event to spend time with the family. A drive-thru ride is such a great idea during the year 2020!
