If you’re still looking for a place to get your kids involved in an outdoor activity this summer, you can consider tennis. Tennis has been ranked as one of the safer outdoor activity during this pandemic. After speaking to the owner, Coach Bill, we found out that Tennis Anyone has gone through great lengths to modify drills for maximum spacing and safety, while still delivering on their goal for fun, fitness, and friendships through tennis. This sport is not just for kids, juniors and adults of all ages and levels will love getting in some needed physical activity at one of their local locations. If your kids are interested in tennis, we highly recommend Tennis Anyone! My son has been taking classes with them for over two years and it has been a wonderful experience. Not only has his skills improved , he’s having a lot fun and making good friends. Tennis class has become a regular routine in our weekly schedule and it’s so convenient because they have so many locations to choose from. Tennis Anyone has been offering dynamic tennis classes for the past 25 years in 12 cities throughout Southern California to students of all levels from beginning to advanced (ages 3-adult). Kids ages 7-17 of all ability levels will also love their one of a kind tennis camps.
Their unique program of leveling up, much like in martial arts, was created by Founder Coach Bill Bush. Coach Bill has over 30 years of competitive experience, which includes completing on the pro circuit, as well as over 20 years of coaching experience, and a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. Unlike many other programs, which only pay attention to the “talented” players, this program is about developing every single individual student to their full potential. They believes that tennis has something truly valuable for every player and envisions students playing the sport for a lifetime.
What we also really enjoy about Tennis Anyone is their Round Robin Tournaments that they have every month. This event is designed to help players improve and get to the next level. Round Robin tournament play is perfect because it allows players the opportunity to compete against lots of different styles of play. Win or Lose, everyone is a winner because of the progress all players make. The Junior Novice Tournament Series is open to anyone desiring to get better through competition.
Players can participate in as few as 1 tournament or all tournaments within the series. All players will receive a ranking based on their performance that will be updated after each tournament. At the end of the series, in November, the top 8 ranked players will be invited to compete in their FREE playoff tournament in December.
