It’s that time again to learn, create and connect. At Pinners Conference and Expo, experience dozens of seminars, interactive classes and hands-on demonstrations, along with vendors and exhibitors offering unique and original items. Pinners Conference and Expo returns to the Pomona Fairplex (1101 W. McKinley Ave. Pomona) for two days of shopping, creating, designing and inspiration, Friday and Saturday, Aug. 25-26.
We loved our time at PINNERS Last year. I learned a few recipes and learned how to make some DIY crafts for the home. This year the class and exhibitor list options are fantastic and larger than before! If you would like to visit this year, we are giving away 2 tickets on our facebook page HERE.

“Let’s Get Crafty at the Pinners Conference & Expo”
The Nation’s Biggest Event for Creatives and Makers Returns to Southern California
Aug. 25-26, 2023, Pomona Fairplex
Pinners Conference & Expo California is a lifestyle, trend and crafting event uniting cooks, crafters, artists. From experienced to novice, attendees can learn new skills and study under the guidance of today’s top leaders and trendsetters. Inspired classes in beauty and fashion, watercolor, food arts, hobby, DIY home and making, Pinners has something for everyone. There more than 100 Pinterest-based classes ranging from photography and self-improvement to party-planning, scrapbooking and cake-designing -and more! Pinners will also welcome more than 200 local artisans and vendors, offering a variety of items for every décor and lifestyle.
“If you can dream it, design it or create it, chances are, you can find it – or learn how to do it – at Pinners,” said Pinners CEO Roxanne Bennett. “What started as a small lifestyle expo with a limited retail component has since grown into one of the nation’s best-loved and best-attended crafting and lifestyle events, welcoming thousands of attendees, presenters and ‘pinfluencers’ to events across the country.”
Expecting an estimated 10,000 attendees at the Pomona Fairplex, Pinners Conference showcases the best and brightest influencers in one forum to share their knowledge by offering classes that aren’t easily found at local craft stores, community colleges, or boutiques.
Guests can create works of art from old books during an “Intro to Book Folding” course or try their hands at soapmaking, create custom cutting board décor or zodiac zen necklaces. Additional presentations and instructional seminars cover everything from crafting with UV resin and applying eye makeup to decorating sugar cookies and crafting custom pillowcases.
“If you’ve ever marveled over the talented artisans on Pinterest and wondered whether you could create something similar yourself, here’s your chance to learn from the pros and put your skills into practice,” Bennett said. “Whether you know exactly what you want to learn or are looking to be inspired onsite, you’re sure to find something to pique your interest at Pinners.”
Pinners Conference & Expo California is possible thanks to generous sponsors including The Home Depot, Plaid, Magnolia Design Co., Dixie Belle Paint Company, American Farmhouse-Style Cottages & Bungalows, The Body Shop at Home, MakerFlo Crafts & Ryobi.
Some classes require “Class Kits” for an additional fee and are available in advance or onsite. While a limited number of pre-registration opportunities are available, Pinners attendees may also register for classes onsite.
