We had a memorable mother and son date night watching HAMILTON at the beautiful Segerstrom Center for the Arts on opening night. Thank you @segerstromarts for inviting us. Both of us love musicals and this particular one is our favorite one together.
HAMILTON performs September 28 through October 16, 2022, at Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Tickets are on sale at scfta.org, in person at the box office at 600 Town Center Drive, Costa Mesa, CA 92626 or by calling (714) 556-2787. It’s a 2 hour and 45 minute show, and recommended for children ages 10 and up.
The fun way they retold this story of Alexander Hamilton and his interactions with other American founding fathers of the time really sparked our interest and love for American history all over again. HAMILTON is a masterpiece and so creative and smart in the way hip-hop is incorporated into the songs and story telling. It made this show captivating from beginning to end. We were on the edge of our seats waiting for the opening scene to start. When it did, everyone cheered loudly. There was so much energy in the audience, it was just the best time. The cast performed it perfectly and we adored every moment of it. We were floored by the cast’s amazing voices and talent. This is Broadway after all, the best of the best.
