First time at Two Bit Circus Downtown LA!

This was the perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon with the kids. It’s indoor fun and all ages in my family had a blast! The games were really unique and new, while you can still find your familiar nostalgic favorites. The first thing I noticed when we walked in was that everyone could not not wait to start playing and ran in different directions.

We played, snacked on ice cream and pizza, and played some more. Hours passed without us noticing and we left in the evening. This would be a great place for a group party. We will definitely be back at @twobitcircus . Thank you for having us!

What a beautiful way to admire the work of Vincent

What a beautiful way to admire the work of Vincent Van Gogh. You can choose to sit and enjoy, walk through it, touch the displays or even lie down in the midst of it. There was no wrong way to go though this immersive experience.
My advice would be to not rush through it and give the kids a heads up that this is not a fast pace exhibit but one that you can take time to enjoy. It would be great to review their favorite Van Gogh art works ahead of time too so that they can look for them in the experience. There’s also an opportunity to enjoy his art through VR which really completes the experience. For this event give yourself 1.5-2hrs.

We finally made it out to the Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience. #ad. I have seen so many beautiful pictures on Instagram for this event that we had to experience this for ourselves. Being able to interact with Van Gogh’s art, and stand in the midst of it is a whole new experience. We’ll be sharing more soon. It’s currently in Montebello, CA.

We spent our last day of summer break exploring the wildlife at Upper Newport Bay. I can’t believe this is my first time here in all my years of living in SoCal. We saw sting rays, crabs, birds and fishes. My favorite was seeing fishes jump out out of the water right in front of me! This place is such a treasure.

I made the mistake of exploring in a raft and had the hardest time going back upstream in it. Everyone in kayaks had an easier time. We went during low tide to see maximum wildlife. Aww, summer break is now over.
